Jamiʿ at-Tirmidhi 3315 – Über die Sure al-Munāfiqūn

Sufyān überlieferte von ʿAmr ibn Dīnār, dass er Jābir ibn ʿAbdullāh sagen hörte:

„Wir befanden uns in einem Feldzug.“ – Sufyān sagte: „Sie sagen, es sei der Feldzug gegen Banū al-Mustaliq gewesen.“ – „Ein Mann von den Muhādschirūn trat einem Mann von den Ansār gegen das Bein. Da rief der Mann von den Muhādschirūn: ‚O Muhādschirūn!‘, und der Mann von den Ansār rief: ‚O Ansār!‘ Der Prophet (ﷺ) hörte das und sagte: ‚Was ist das für ein übler Ruf der Dschāhilīya?‘ Sie sagten: ‚Ein Mann von den Muhādschirūn hat einem Mann von den Ansār gegen das Bein getreten.‘ Da sagte der Prophet (ﷺ): ‚Lasst davon ab, denn das ist anstößig.‘

ʿAbdullāh ibn Ubayy ibn Salūl hörte davon und sagte: ‚Haben sie das tatsächlich getan? Bei Allah! Wenn wir nach al-Madīna zurückkehren, wird der Ehrenhafter gewiss den Niedrigeren daraus vertreiben.‘ ʿUmar sagte: ‚Erlaube mir, den Kopf dieses Heuchlers abzuschlagen, o Gesandter Allahs!‘ Der Prophet (ﷺ) sagte: ‚Lass ihn, denn ich möchte nicht, dass die Leute sagen: „Muhammad tötet seine Gefährten.“‘“

Jemand anderes als ʿAmr sagte: „Da sagte sein Sohn, ʿAbdullāh ibn ʿAbdullāh: ‚Bei Allah! Du wirst nicht zurückkehren, bis du sagst, dass du der Niedrigere bist und dass der Gesandte Allahs (ﷺ) der Ehrenhafte ist.‘ Da tat er dies.“

Sufyan narrated from Amr bin Dinar that he heard Jabir bin Abdullah saying:
“We were in a battle” – Sufyan said: “They say it was the battle of Banu Mustaliq” – “A man from the Muhajirin kicked a man from the Ansar. The man from the Muhajirin said: ‘O Muhajirin!’ the man from the Ansar said: ‘O Ansar!’ The Prophet (ﷺ) heard that and said: ‘What is this evil call of Jahliyyah?’ They said: ‘A man from the Muhajirin kicked a man from the Ansar.’ So the Prophet (ﷺ) said: ‘Leave that, for it is offensive.’ Abdullah bin Ubayy bin Salul heard that and said: ‘Did they really do that? By Allah! If we return to Al-Madinah indeed the more honorable will expel therefrom the meaner.’ Umar said: ‘Allow me to chop off the head of this hypocrite, O Messenger of Allah!’ The Prophet (ﷺ) said: ‘Leave him, I do not want the people to say that Muhammad kills his Companions.’” Someone other than Amr said: “So his son, Abdullah bin Abdullah, said: ‘By Allah! You shall not return until you say that you are the mean and that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) is the honorable.’ So he did so.”
