حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاَءِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ كُنْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي سَفَرٍ وَكُنْتُ عَلَى جَمَلٍ فَقَالَ ‏"‏ مَا لَكَ فِي آخِرِ النَّاسِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قُلْتُ أَعْيَا بَعِيرِي فَأَخَذَ بِذَنَبِهِ ثُمَّ زَجَرَهُ فَإِنْ كُنْتُ إِنَّمَا أَنَا فِي أَوَّلِ النَّاسِ يُهِمُّنِي رَأْسُهُ فَلَمَّا دَنَوْنَا مِنَ الْمَدِينَةِ قَالَ ‏"‏ مَا فَعَلَ الْجَمَلُ بِعْنِيهِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قُلْتُ لاَ بَلْ هُوَ لَكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ ‏"‏ لاَ بَلْ بِعْنِيهِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قُلْتُ لاَ بَلْ هُوَ لَكَ ‏.‏ قَالَ ‏"‏ لاَ بَلْ بِعْنِيهِ قَدْ أَخَذْتُهُ بِوُقِيَّةٍ ارْكَبْهُ فَإِذَا قَدِمْتَ الْمَدِينَةَ فَائْتِنَا بِهِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ فَلَمَّا قَدِمْتُ الْمَدِينَةَ جِئْتُهُ بِهِ فَقَالَ لِبِلاَلٍ ‏"‏ يَا بِلاَلُ زِنْ لَهُ أُوقِيَّةً وَزِدْهُ قِيرَاطًا ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قُلْتُ هَذَا شَىْءٌ زَادَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَلَمْ يُفَارِقْنِي فَجَعَلْتُهُ فِي كِيسٍ فَلَمْ يَزَلْ عِنْدِي حَتَّى جَاءَ أَهْلُ الشَّامِ يَوْمَ الْحَرَّةِ فَأَخَذُوا مِنَّا مَا أَخَذُوا ‏.‏

Überliefert ist, dass Dschābir ibn ʿAbdullāh sagte:

„Ich war mit dem Gesandten Allahs (ﷺ) auf einer Reise und ritt auf einem Kamel. Er sagte: ‚Warum bist du hinter den Leuten?‘ Ich sagte: ‚Mein Kamel ist müde.‘ Da ergriff er dessen Schwanz und trieb es an. Daraufhin war ich an der Spitze der Leute und machte mir Sorgen, dass es den anderen davoneilen würde.

Als wir uns al-Madīnah näherten, sagte er: ‚Was ist mit dem Kamel geschehen? Verkaufe es mir.‘ Ich sagte: ‚Nein, es gehört dir, o Gesandter Allahs.‘ Er sagte: ‚Nein, verkaufe es mir.‘ Ich sagte: ‚Nein, es gehört dir, o Gesandter Allahs.‘ Er sagte: ‚Nein, verkaufe es mir. Ich nehme es für eine Ūqiyyah, aber du reitest weiterhin darauf. Wenn du al-Madīnah erreichst, bringe es zu uns.‘

Als ich al-Madīnah erreichte, brachte ich es ihm. Er sagte zu Bilāl: ‚O Bilāl, wiege ihm eine Ūqiyyah ab und füge ein Qīrāt hinzu.‘ Ich sagte: ‚Das ist etwas Zusätzliches, das der Gesandte Allahs (ﷺ) mir gegeben hat.‘ Ich bewahrte es bei mir auf und legte es in einen Beutel. Es blieb bei mir, bis die Leute aus asch-Schām am Tag von al-Harrah kamen und uns das nahmen, was sie uns nahmen.“

It was narrated that Jabir 'Abdullah said:
"I was with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) on a journey, and I was riding a camel. He said: 'Why are you at the back of the people?, I said: 'My camel is tired, He took hold of its tail and shouted at it, then I was at the front of the people, worrying that it would go ahead of the others. When we drew close to al-Madinah he said: 'What happened to the camel? Sell it to me.' I said, No, it is yours O Messenger of Allah.; He said, 'No, sell it tome. I said, 'No, it is yours, O Messenger of Allah.' He said: 'No, sell it to me. I will take it for one Uwqiyah but you (continue to) ride it. Then when you reach Al-Madinah, bring it to us.' So when I reached Al-Madinah, I brought it him. He said to Bilal: 'O Bilal, weight out for him one Uwqiyyah and add a Qirat.' I said: 'This is something extra that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) gave to.' I kept it with me and put it in a bag, and it stayed with me until the people of Ash-Sham came on the Day of Al-Harrah and took from us what they took.'
