Sahih al-Bukhari 3693 – Die Vorzüge von ʿUmar ibn al-Chattāb رضي الله عنه

Abū Mūsā überlieferte:

Während ich mich mit dem Propheten (ﷺ) in einem der Gärten von Medina befand, kam ein Mann und bat mich, ihm das Tor zu öffnen. Der Prophet (ﷺ) sagte zu mir: „Öffne ihm das Tor und überbringe ihm die frohe Botschaft, dass er ins Paradies eintreten wird.“ Ich öffnete ihm das Tor, und siehe da! Es war Abū Bakr. Ich teilte ihm die frohe Botschaft mit, die der Prophet (ﷺ) verkündet hatte, und er pries Allah.

Dann kam ein anderer Mann und bat mich, ihm das Tor zu öffnen. Der Prophet (ﷺ) sagte zu mir: „Öffne ihm das Tor und überbringe ihm die frohe Botschaft, dass er ins Paradies eintreten wird.“ Ich öffnete ihm das Tor, und siehe da! Es war ʿUmar. Ich teilte ihm mit, was der Prophet (ﷺ) gesagt hatte, und er pries Allah.

Dann kam ein weiterer Mann und bat mich, ihm das Tor zu öffnen. Der Prophet (ﷺ) sagte zu mir: „Öffne ihm das Tor und überbringe ihm die frohe Botschaft, dass er ins Paradies eintreten wird, wobei ihn ein Unglück treffen wird.“ Und siehe da! Es war ʿUthmān. Ich teilte ihm mit, was der Gesandte Allahs (ﷺ) gesagt hatte. Er pries Allah und sagte: „Ich erbitte Allahs Beistand.“

Narrated Abu Musa:


While I was with the Prophet (ﷺ) in one of the gardens of Medina, a man came and asked me to open the
gate. The Prophet (ﷺ) said to me, "Open the gate for him and give him the glad tidings that he will enter
Paradise." I opened (the gate) for him, and behold! It was Abu Bakr. I informed him of the glad
tidings the Prophet (ﷺ) had said, and he praised Allah. Then another man came and asked me to open the
gate. The Prophet (ﷺ) said to me "Open (the gate) and give him the glad tidings of entering Paradise." I
opened (the gate) for him, and behold! It was `Umar. I informed him of what the Prophet (ﷺ) had said, and
he praised Allah. Then another man came and asked me to open the gate. The Prophet (ﷺ) said to me.
"Open (the gate) for him and inform him of the glad tidings, of entering Paradise with a calamity
which will befall him. " Behold ! It was `Uthman, I informed him of what Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) had said.
He praised Allah and said, "I seek Allah's Aid."
