Sunan Abi Dawud 1885 – Ar-Raml (zügiges Gehen während des Tawāf)

Abu al-Tufail sagte: Ich sagte zu Ibn ʿAbbās: „Deine Leute glauben, dass der Gesandte Allahs ﷺ beim Umrunden der Kaʿba stolz und mit schnellen Schritten ging und dass dies eine Sunna (Praxis des Propheten) sei.“ Er sagte: „Sie haben teilweise die Wahrheit gesagt und teilweise gelogen.“ Ich fragte: „Welche Wahrheit haben sie gesagt und welche Lüge haben sie erzählt?“ Er sagte: „Sie haben die Wahrheit gesagt, dass der Gesandte Allahs ﷺ beim Umrunden der Kaʿba stolz ging; aber sie haben gelogen, dass dies eine Sunna sei. Die Quraisch behaupteten während der Tage von al-Hudaibiyya: ‚Lasst Muhammad und seine Gefährten im Stich, bis sie den Tod eines Kamels sterben, das an Bakterien in seiner Nase zugrunde geht.‘ Als sie mit ihm einen Vertrag schlossen und darin vereinbarten, dass sie (der Prophet ﷺ und seine Gefährten) im nächsten Jahr kommen und drei Tage in Mekka bleiben würden, sagte der Gesandte Allahs ﷺ zu den Gefährten: ‚Geht bei den ersten drei Umläufen um die Kaʿba stolz (mit schwingenden Schultern).‘ (Ibn ʿAbbās sagte:) Aber dies ist keine Sunna.“

Ich sagte: „Deine Leute glauben, dass der Gesandte Allahs ﷺ zwischen as-Safā und al-Marwa auf einem Kamel lief und dass dies eine Sunna sei.“ Er sagte: „Sie haben teilweise die Wahrheit gesagt und teilweise gelogen.“ Ich fragte: „Welche Wahrheit haben sie gesagt und welche Lüge haben sie erzählt?“ Er sagte: „Sie haben die Wahrheit gesagt, dass der Gesandte Allahs ﷺ zwischen as-Safā und al-Marwa auf einem Kamel lief. Sie haben gelogen, dass dies eine Sunna sei. Da die Menschen nicht vom Gesandten Allahs ﷺ wichen und sich nicht von ihm entfernten, vollzog er den Saʿy auf einem Kamel, damit sie ihn hören und seine Stellung sehen konnten und ihre Hände ihn nicht erreichen konnten.

Abu Al Tufail said I said to Ibn ‘Abbas Your people think that the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) walked proudly with swift strides while going round the Ka’bah and that it is sunnah (practice of the Prophet). He said “They spoke the truth (in part) and told a lie (in part).” I asked “What truth did they speak and what lie did they tell?” He said “They spoke the truth that the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) walked proudly while going round the Ka’bah but they told a lie, this is no sunnah. The Quraish asserted during the days of Al Hudaibiyyah “Forsake Muhammad and his Companions till they die the death of a Camel which dies of bacteria in its nose. When they concluded a treaty with him agreeing upon the fact that they (the Prophet (ﷺ) and his Companions) would come (to Makkah) next year and stay at Makkah three days, the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) said to the Companions “Walk proudly (moving shoulders) while going round the Ka’bah in first three circuits. (Ibn ‘Abbas said) But this is not sunnah. I said “Your people think that the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) ran between Al Safa and Al Marwah on a Camel and that is sunnah.” He said “They spoke the truth (in part) and told a lie (in part). I asked “What truth did they speak and what lie did they tell? He said “they spoke the truth that the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) ran between Al Safa and Al Marwah on a Camel. They told a lie that it is a sunnah. As the people did not move from around the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) and did not separate themselves from him he did the sa’i on a Camel so that they may listen to him and see his position and their hands might not reach him.
