Sahih Muslim 2675c – Ermutigung zum Gedenken an Allah, den Erhabenen

Hammām ibn Munabbih überlieferte von Abū Huraira so viele Hadithe; einer davon lautet, dass der Gesandte Allahs (ﷺ) sagte, dass Allah Folgendes sprach:

„Wenn sich Mein Diener Mir um die Spannweite einer Handfläche nähert, nähere Ich Mich ihm um die Länge einer Elle. Wenn er sich Mir um die Länge einer Elle nähert, nähere Ich Mich ihm um die Strecke von zwei Händen. Und wenn er sich Mir um die Strecke von zwei Händen nähert, eile Ich zu ihm.“

Hammam b. Munabbih reported so many ahadith from Abu Huraira and one out of them is this that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said that Allah thus stated: When My servant draws close to me by the span of a palm, I draw close to him by the space of a cubit, and when he draws close to Me by the space of a cubit, I draw close to him by the space (covered) by two hands, and when he draws close to Me by the space (covered by) two hands, I go in hurry towards him.
