Sahih Muslim 179 b

Die Aussage des Propheten (ﷺ): „Allah schläft nicht“ und „Sein Schleier ist Licht, und wenn Er ihn entfernen würde, würde der Glanz Seines Angesichts Seine gesamte Schöpfung verbrennen, soweit Sein Blick reicht“.The saying of the Prophet (ﷺ): "Allah does not sleep" and "His veil is light, and if he were to remove it, the splendour of his face would burn all of his creation, as far as hs sght reaches".باب فِي قَوْلِهِ عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ: «إِنَّ اللَّهَ لاَ يَنَامُ». وَفِي قَوْلِهِ: «حِجَابُهُ النُّورُ لَوْ كَشَفَهُ لأَحْرَقَ سُبُحَاتُ وَجْهِهِ مَا انْتَهَى إِلَيْهِ بَصَرُهُ مِنْ خَلْقِهِ»

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ قَالَ قَامَ فِينَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِأَرْبَعِ كَلِمَاتٍ ‏.‏ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ أَبِي مُعَاوِيَةَ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ ‏"‏ مِنْ خَلْقِهِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ وَقَالَ حِجَابُهُ النُّورُ ‏.‏

Al-Aʿmasch überlieferte diesen Hadith mit derselben Überlieferungskette und sagte: Der Gesandte Allahs (ﷺ) stand unter uns und teilte uns vier Dinge mit. Danach überlieferte er den Hadith in ähnlicher Weise wie Abū Muʿāwiya, erwähnte jedoch nicht die Worte „Seine Schöpfung“ und sagte: Sein Schleier ist das Licht.

A'mash has narrated this hadith on the same authority and said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was standing amongst us and he told us four things. He then narrated the hadith like the one reported by Abu Mua'wiya, but did not mention the words" His creation" and said: His veil is the light.
