Sahih al-Bukhari 6819 – Die Steinigung am Balat

Überliefert von Ibn ʿUmar:

Ein Jude und eine Jüdin wurden wegen des Vorwurfs, unerlaubten Geschlechtsverkehr begangen zu haben, zum Gesandten Allahs (ﷺ) gebracht. Der Prophet (ﷺ) fragte sie: „Welche gesetzliche Strafe steht für diese Sünde in eurem Buch (der Tora)?“ Sie antworteten: „Unsere Rabbiner haben die Strafe eingeführt, die Gesichter mit Kohle zu schwärzen und Tajbiya.“ ʿAbdullah ibn Salām sagte: „O Gesandter Allahs, fordere sie auf, die Tora zu bringen.“ Die Tora wurde gebracht, und dann legte einer der Juden seine Hand über den göttlichen Vers der Rajm-Strafe (Steinigung bis zum Tod) und begann, das zu lesen, was davor und danach stand. Darauf sagte Ibn Salām zu dem Juden: „Heb deine Hand.“ Da lag der göttliche Vers über die Rajm-Strafe unter seiner Hand. So ordnete der Gesandte Allahs an, dass die beiden (Sünder) gesteinigt werden sollten, und so wurden sie gesteinigt. Ibn ʿUmar fügte hinzu: Beide wurden am Balāt gesteinigt, und ich sah, wie der Jude die Jüdin schützte.

Narrated Ibn `Umar:


A Jew and a Jewess were brought to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) on a charge of committing an illegal sexual
intercourse. The Prophet (ﷺ) asked them. "What is the legal punishment (for this sin) in your Book
(Torah)?" They replied, "Our priests have innovated the punishment of blackening the faces with
charcoal and Tajbiya." `Abdullah bin Salam said, "O Allah's Messenger, tell them to bring the Torah."
The Torah was brought, and then one of the Jews put his hand over the Divine Verse of the Rajam
(stoning to death) and started reading what preceded and what followed it. On that, Ibn Salam said to
the Jew, "Lift up your hand." Behold! The Divine Verse of the Rajam was under his hand. So Allah's
Apostle ordered that the two (sinners) be stoned to death, and so they were stoned. Ibn `Umar added:
So both of them were stoned at the Balat and I saw the Jew sheltering the Jewess.
