The Statement of Allah the Exalted: "Glorified (and Exalted) is He (Allah) [above all that (evil) they associate with Him], Who took His slave (Muḥammad pbuh) for a Journey by Night from Al-Masjid-al-Ḥarām (at Makkah) to Al-Masjid-al-Aqsā (in Jerusalem)..."

Narrated Jabir bin `Abdullah:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "When the Quraish disbelieved me (concerning my night journey), I stood up in Al-
Hijr (the unroofed portion of the Ka`ba) and Allah displayed Bait-ul-Maqdis before me, and I started
to inform them (Quraish) about its signs while looking at it."
