Sahih al-Bukhari 4269 – Die Entsendung von Usāma ibn Zaid nach al-Huraqāt

Der Gesandte Allahs (ﷺ) entsandte uns nach al-Huruqa. Am Morgen griffen wir sie an und besiegten sie. Ein Mann von den Ansār und ich verfolgten einen Mann von ihnen. Als wir ihn überwältigt hatten, sagte er: „Es gibt keinen Gott außer Allah.“ Als der Mann von den Ansār das hörte, hielt er inne, ich jedoch tötete ihn, indem ich ihn mit meinem Speer durchstach.

Als wir zurückkehrten, erfuhr der Prophet (ﷺ) davon und sagte: „O Usāma! Hast du ihn getötet, nachdem er gesagt hatte: ‚Es gibt keinen Gott außer Allah‘?“ Ich sagte: „Aber er sagte es doch nur, um sich selbst zu retten.“ Der Prophet (ﷺ) wiederholte dies so oft, dass ich mir wünschte, ich hätte den Islam nicht vor jenem Tag angenommen.

Narrated Usama bin Zaid:


Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) sent us towards Al-Huruqa, and in the morning we attacked them and defeated them. I
and an Ansari man followed a man from among them and when we took him over, he said, "La ilaha
illal-Lah." On hearing that, the Ansari man stopped, but I killed him by stabbing him with my spear.
When we returned, the Prophet (ﷺ) came to know about that and he said, "O Usama! Did you kill him
after he had said "La ilaha ilal-Lah?" I said, "But he said so only to save himself." The Prophet (ﷺ) kept
on repeating that so often that I wished I had not embraced Islam before that day.
