Sahih al-Bukhari 3731 – Die Vorzüge von Zaid ibn Haritha

ʿUrwa überlieferte:

ʿĀʾischa sagte: „Ein Qāʾif (d. h. jemand, der darin bewandert ist, die Abstammung eines Menschen anhand physiognomischer Merkmale und durch die Untersuchung der Körperteile eines Säuglings zu erkennen) kam zu mir, während der Prophet (ﷺ) anwesend war und Usāma ibn Zaid und Zaid ibn Hāritha schlafend dalagen. Der Qāʾif sagte: ‚Diese Füße (von Usāma und seinem Vater) gehören zu Personen derselben Abstammung.‘“ Der Prophet (ﷺ) freute sich über diese Aussage, die seine Bewunderung erregte, und erzählte ʿĀʾischa davon.

Narrated `Urwa:


Aisha said, "A Qaif (i.e. one skilled in recognizing the lineage of a person through Physiognomy and
through examining the body parts of an infant) came to me while the Prophet (ﷺ) was present, and Usama
bin Zaid and Zaid bin Haritha were Lying asleep. The Qa'if said. These feet (of Usama and his father)
are of persons belonging to the same lineage.' " The Prophet (ﷺ) was pleased with that saying which won
his admiration, and he told `Aisha of it.
