حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّ زَيْنَبَ ابْنَةَ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، حَدَّثَتْهُ أَنَّ أُمَّ حَبِيبَةَ بِنْتَ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ حَدَّثَتْهَا عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ جَحْشٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا فَزِعًا يَقُولُ ‏"‏ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ، وَيْلٌ لِلْعَرَبِ مِنْ شَرٍّ قَدِ اقْتَرَبَ، فُتِحَ الْيَوْمَ مِنْ رَدْمِ يَأْجُوجَ وَمَأْجُوجَ مِثْلُ هَذَا ‏"‏‏.‏ وَحَلَّقَ بِإِصْبَعِهِ وَبِالَّتِي تَلِيهَا، فَقَالَتْ زَيْنَبُ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَنَهْلِكُ وَفِينَا الصَّالِحُونَ قَالَ ‏"‏ نَعَمْ، إِذَا كَثُرَ الْخَبَثُ ‏"‏‏.‏

Überliefert von Zainab bint Dschahsch:

Der Prophet (ﷺ) kam in einem Zustand der Angst zu ihr und sagte: „Niemand hat das Recht, angebetet zu werden, außer Allah! Wehe den Arabern wegen des Übels, das nahe gekommen ist. Heute ist in der Mauer von Gog und Magog ein Loch von dieser Größe geöffnet worden.“ Dabei zeigte er mit zwei seiner Finger und bildete einen Kreis. Zainab sagte: „Ich fragte: ‚O Gesandter Allahs! Werden wir vernichtet, obwohl sich unter uns rechtschaffene Menschen befinden?‘“ Er sagte: „Ja, wenn das Übel zunimmt.“

Narrated Zainab bint Jahsh:

That the Prophet (ﷺ) came to her in a state of fear saying, "None has the right to be worshiped but Allah!
Woe to the Arabs because of evil that has come near. Today a hole has been made in the wall of Gog
and Magog as large as this." pointing with two of his fingers making a circle. Zainab said, "I said, 'O
Allah's Messenger! Shall we be destroyed though amongst us there are pious people? ' He said, 'Yes, if
evil increases."
