Sahih al-Bukhari 3373 – Die Aussage Allahs, des Erhabenen: „Und erwähne im Buch Ismāʿīl …“

Überliefert von Salama ibn al-Akwaʿ:

Der Prophet (ﷺ) kam an einigen Personen vom Stamm Aslam vorbei, die Bogenschießen übten (d. h. Pfeile abschossen). Der Gesandte Allahs (ﷺ) sagte: „O Nachkommen Ismāʿīls! Übt das Bogenschießen, denn euer Vater war ein hervorragender Bogenschütze (d. h. Pfeilschütze). Ich bin auf der Seite des Sohnes von soundso.“ Daraufhin hörte eine der beiden Mannschaften auf zu schießen. Der Gesandte Allahs (ﷺ) fragte sie: „Warum schießt ihr nicht?“ Sie antworteten: „O Gesandter Allahs! Wie sollen wir schießen, wenn du auf der Seite der gegnerischen Mannschaft bist?“ Er sagte: „Schießt, denn ich bin mit euch allen.“

Narrated Salama bin Al-Akwa`:


The Prophet (ﷺ) passed by some persons of the tribe of Aslam practicing archery (i.e. the throwing of
arrows) Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "O offspring of Ishmael! Practice archery (i.e. arrow throwing) as your
father was a great archer (i.e. arrow-thrower). I am with (on the side of) the son of so-and-so-."
Hearing that, one of the two teams stopped throwing. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) asked them, ' Why are you not
throwing?" They replied, "O Allah's Messenger! How shall we throw when you are with the opposite
team?" He said, "Throw, for I am with you all."
