Kann eine Frau in einem Hüfttuch eines Mannes eingehüllt werden?Can a woman be shrouded in the waist-sheet of a man?باب هَلْ تُكَفَّنُ الْمَرْأَةُ فِي إِزَارِ الرَّجُلِ

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ، قَالَتْ تُوُفِّيَتْ بِنْتُ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ لَنَا ‏"‏ اغْسِلْنَهَا ثَلاَثًا أَوْ خَمْسًا أَوْ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ إِنْ رَأَيْتُنَّ، فَإِذَا فَرَغْتُنَّ فَآذِنَّنِي ‏"‏‏.‏ فَلَمَّا فَرَغْنَا آذَنَّاهُ فَنَزَعَ مِنْ حِقْوِهِ إِزَارَهُ وَقَالَ ‏"‏ أَشْعِرْنَهَا إِيَّاهُ ‏"‏‏.‏

Überliefert von Umm ʿAtiyya:

Die Tochter des Propheten ﷺ verstarb, und er sagte zu uns: „Wascht sie drei- oder fünfmal oder öfter, wenn ihr es für notwendig erachtet. Und wenn ihr fertig seid, teilt es mir mit.“ Als wir fertig waren, informierten wir ihn. Daraufhin löste er sein Hüfttuch und wies uns an, sie darin einzuhüllen.

Narrated Um 'Atiyya:

The daughter of the Prophet (ﷺ) expired, and he said to us, "Wash her three or five times, or more if you
see it necessary, and when you finish, notify me." So, (when we finished) we informed him and he
unfastened his waist-sheet and told us to shroud her in it.
